'The people made a new village. '

  I read HILL OF FIRE. The book's story is about village and farmer in the village. One day, farmer and his son and ox plowed the field. Suddenly the plow stooped.  The little hole became a bigger hole. There was a noise deep under the ground, as if something big had growled. White smoke came from the hole in the ground. There was a loud BOOM, and another, and another. So the school was gone, the market was gone. Half the village was gone. So the people made a new village.
